About The British Cræft Prize
Launching in 2026, The British Cræft Prize is a £60,000 national award that recognizes exceptional British makers who bridge heritage craft traditions with advanced technology and contemporary innovation.
The prize celebrates artisans working across all disciplines — from ceramics and metalwork to textiles and woodcraft — who demonstrate outstanding technical skill, creative vision, and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of their craft.
